Early Christmas Tidings

I can't believe its so soon to Christmas.  The weeks have just flown by.  (whoosh.  there goes another) Things have been somewhat crazy/hectic around here for a little bit.  We moved/in the process of moving...  It's been fun.  Pictures to come soon.

I'm very much so looking forward to Christmas break!  No school, snow (hopefully), sledding, and...  (insert drum roll please) Hawaii!  That's right :)  Two weeks of solid sunshine, and sand!  Anyways, more to come soon!  It's been a while since I posted, and I hope to change that...

Where to start...  Summer is officially over, which is somewhat sad, but it is nice to get back to a regular schedule!  I'm pretty excited that this is my freshman year!  Only 3 more years of school left!  On a side note, in less than a month I can drive...  (legally)...  It's time I start reading the manual.  I have my fingers crossed that this is an easy test :)  Everyone has said that it's fairly simple!

School is going fairly well :)  I started biology two weeks ago, and got a 100% on my first exam!  Algebra 1 is starting soon, and its making me nervous....  Math is not my strong point...

Recently I did a biology lab with my friends/study partners!  Here are a few pictures from out lab...

I believe this is the onion skin....  I can't exactly remember...  (whoops)

This one is a slice off a cork, but the magnification on the microscope was a little to powerful, so it's slightly blurry...

HAPPY TUESDAY!  :)

8th Grade Grad

Sunday was my 8th grade graduation!  We headed out to a nearby lake, and enjoyed some great company, and yummy food.  Four of us graduated, we've all been friends for a while, but some are newer than others.

                                                                  8th Graders!

I am so ready for Summer!  After today, I am completely done with the rain, and the gray skies.  On a happier note, I'm wrapping up school for the year.  I finished my reading about a month ago, and I'm on my last writing assignment.  Science, and math end in four weeks, and I'm done :)

The other night we walked down to the beach right at sunset.  It was a beautiful evening!  No rain, no overcast skies, and no freezing temperatures.

I didn't post anything about easter so I thought I would!  It turned out to be a beautiful day.  We went to a beach here in town, and spent the day barbecuing, hanging out with friends, and playing games of capture the flag, and ultimate frisbee!

A Recap part 1.

I realized (after several e-mails, and notes) that I haven't blogged in a while...  So here is a peek at the last few weeks.About 3 weeks ago, maybe four, Erin, Ms. S , and I decided to traverse out to Ward Lake after church on Sabbath.  With no particular goal in mind other than enjoying the nature, and a bit of exercise.  We set off on the relatively short hike.

It was one of the few gorgeous days we have, and I stopped to enjoy and absorb the Vitamin D.  As I was standing there basking in the sun, snapping photos I soon realized that I was being left behind.  I ran to catch up with the others.  That probably wasn't the smartest thing I have ever done, being as I had my camera in my hands, but nothing happened and I quickly caught up to the others...  We finished our walk physically and mentally refreshed.

Look for Part 2 soon :)
