I pedaled faster to feel the cool breeze whip across my face.  When I looked to the side trees flashed by giving the appearance of a green wall.  I rode my bike this evening while my mom, Grandma, and Kat walked.  Oh, and Sam walked to. :)

I also made Orange Bran Muffins.

Trying to get the perfect angle.

Greetings from the land of mountains and oceans!  This weekend was jam-packed with activities.  Saturday was my Grandpa's 60th birthday, and after church we went over to Gravina Island to celebrate.  Sunday we gathered for an Easter picnic with friends at Settlers Cove.  We threw the football, kicked the soccer ball around, and enjoyed good food and fellowship.

Earlier this week the tide was super low - negative 4.0.  We invited the Hamlins and Liesel over for a pancake breakfast before hitting the beach at eight o-clock.  A passel of homeschoolers, donned in boots and raincoats, roamed far and wide searching for treasures usually buried beneath the sea.  Enjoy the photos from our outing :)

It was the perfect day to go!  The weather was gorgeous :)

My week so far...

Saturday-  Was beautiful!  Sunshine and very little wind :)  Kat and I decided to go sit outside on the swing after lunch it was so gorgeous.  That evening Kat, Uncle B, and I went to Lighthouse to get a movie.  First we had to figure out how to work the machine.  That took us a good half-an-hour, and we finally after much struggle got our movie!

Sunday- We went to Saylor's Birthday!  Happy Birthday Saylor!  Mom was sick so she dropped us off, and we spent the afternoon playing games and munching on snacks.

Monday-Today- I went swimming, while Mom and Kat ran errands.  Meg, Becky, Sara, and I dove for bricks, and I swam a couple laps.  We also found out the a majority of the homeschoolers from a different program will be testing with us for the week!  Yay!  Maybe this year I can sit with someone I know :)
